VGPA Grain Open Golf Tournament Summary

The 2011 VGPA Grain Open Golf Tournament was held this past Friday, August 12, 2011 at Piankatank River Golf Club. This year’s tournament was one of our largest yet, with 22 teams and nearly 100 grain producers and industry partners in attendance. We enjoyed beautiful weather for a round of golf at Piankatank, and capped the day off with a steak dinner and award ceremony at the club house. The top teams were awarded a round of golf for four at Tartan or Golden Eagle Golf Clubs; the runner-up teams along with the longest drive and closest-to-the-pin winners were given packages of golf related prizes.
