Raffle to Benefit Virginia Agriculture in the Classroom

In conjunction with the 2019 Virginia Grains and Soybean Annual Conference we are delighted to host a benefit raffle the evening of Wednesday, February 20, 2019 to benefit Virginia Agriculture in the Classroom. The raffle prizes will be drawn during the dinner the evening of the 20th, which is open to all conference attendees. We encourage you to attend, participate and support this organization!

The mission of Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) is to educate Virginia's children about the importance of agriculture.

AITC does this through:

  • Professional development and resources for educators
  • School grants for agriculturally themed projects
  • Awards for teachers who successfully integrate agriculture into their classrooms
  • Agriculture Literacy Week reading program
  • Support for volunteer initiatives.

AITC is able to achieve its mission due to the generosity of donors. Proceeds from this live auction will benefit AITC's efforts in Virginia.

How Can I Participate?

To make the raffle a success, we are requesting you to consider making a donation of merchandise, services, or funds for the event. By donating an item, you'll be making a contribution to help AITC continue to educate Virginia children on the world of agriculture.

Additionally, you'll benefit from exposure of you or your company's name to those who attend the event. Donors will be listed on the event program, and the merchandise you give will be on display through the event. As a donor, you can attend the event where you will be able to meet prospective customers and support AITC.

We kindly ask that you consider donating an item to support the continued work of AITC. You may reach out to Kelly Pious with AITC to make a donation at 804-317-2713 or Kelly.Pious@vafb.com
