In observance of Earth Day, Virginia Grain
Producers Association thanks each of our
farmers who make our world a safer, more
productive place through efficient food,
feed, fiber and fuel production.
Implementing conservation practices such as
conservation tillage, no-till, cover crops,
water buffers, and nutrient management
plans, Virginia’s grain farmers strive to
keep our land productive in the most
efficient ways possible. Virginia’s grain
farmers utilize the best technology tools
such as GPS mapping, variable application
rates and precision management to reduce
waste and to grow more on less. We are
thankful for their hard work and dedication
to efficient practices to bring us safe,
affordable, home-grown, food, feed, fiber
and fuel. Thank you!
